MUSIC COPYRIGHT - COMMUNITY BROADCASTERS

Community broadcasting station personnel are required to support the compliance of copyright regulations in Australia, and this is so for those involved in Capital Community Radio (Capital 101.7FM).

Capital 101.7FM pays annually the required copyright licence fees to cover its on-air broadcasting and Internet live streaming of copyrighted music in our simulcast to 101.7FM, "Capital" on DAB+ Digital, and on the Internet.
Our compliance also covers the storage in electronic medium beyond 12 months, of music for use in circumstances such as that used overnight (in the wee small hours) by CONRAD.
