--- DONATIONS ARE OUR LIFE BLOOD ---

We are a community licensed non-profit organisation serving the Seniors of Perth, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  To operate, we need to raise funds, relying on donations, subscriptions, and sponsorship to meet our ongoing costs, as we are entirely run by volunteers.  Yes, the great sounds you hear of "The Golden Years of Radio" come from a community based station that is totally manned by a great volunteer workforce.  For those of you who like what you hear on Capital Community Radio from Perth, Western Australia, we hope you will give consideration to supporting us financially.  Unfortunately donations are currently not allowed by Australian tax law to be tax deductible for community radio stations (with the exception of those already registered before the Goods & Services Tax [GST] was enacted in Australia).

HOW CAN YOU DONATE:

  • To our annual Radiothon, generally held over 6 days during May each year
(listeners are encouraged to phone in during our programs and donate,
and donated prizes can also be won during most programs)

  • By mail to our postal address PO Box 1388, BOORAGOON, WA, 6954

  • In person at our station studio premises at Wireless Hill Park, ARDROSS, WA, 6153
(Telefunken Drive, running off roundabout at west end of Almondbury Drive)
    - we are the building at the right when you look at the three central buildings from the car park

WHAT DO THE DONATIONS GET USED FOR:

Operating expenses, day-to-day, and specialised broadcasting equipment maintenance costs, such as:

  • Studio equipment including CD players and turntables

  • Transmitter componentry & associated exciters and other equipment

  • Computing equipment (we have been fortunate to have been a recipient of a number of computers and monitors, including a server, from Aurecon, formerly known as Connell Wagner, a large engineering design consulting company, over recent years, very much appreciated)

  • General office equipment

  • Refurbishment and modification of offices for administration.

    SUBSCRIPTIONS:
